Aluminum Oxide is a fast, versatile and economical cutting abrasive. Aluminum Oxide is the second hardest mineral on Earth, second only to diamond. Aluminum Oxide can be used in wet and dry blasting applications for cleaning, deburring, etching and finishing. Aluminum Oxide is ideal for etching the surface of glass as it’s hardness is greater than glass. Aluminum Oxide won’t break down as fast as glass blasting media and has a longer cycle life than most blast media.
- Aluminum Oxide is harder than most blasting medias. Cleans and etches on all types of surfaces including glass.
