Once installed, our 3.5mm male stereo audio cable allows you to connect your iPhone, iPod, audio streaming device (e.g. ChromeCast Audio, Bluetooth audio receiver), MP3 player, CD player, smartphone, tablet, or any audio device with 3.5mm headphone jack to your outdoor, office, or home audio system. This handy cable also makes dinner parties and backyard barbecues even better with music from your MP3 player or other portable device played over your home entertainment system or portable speakers. This cable is not recommended for personal headphones, iPods, iPhones or other personal hand held devices due to stiffness of the cable. • CL3-RATED, SHIELD AND DRAIN WIRE: This 22 AWG 2 conductor cord has been given a CL3 rating, which refers to its in-wall classification. This wiring is rated for safe in-wall use and can support up to 300 volts. The UL-listed conduit or wiring shield is composed of an aluminum and polyester covering and includes a drain wire that completes the electrical circuit.
