A top quality replacement hitch head for ALKO braked couplings. Replaces ALKO part number AK160A. Designed to replace old, worn, rusty or damaged hitch heads. Fits on to a 35mm draw bar. 54mm Bolt Centres. Rated for trailers and caravans up to 1700kg. Fully EU Approved. Will fit any standard 50mm diameter tow ball. Feel free to contact us with any questions. As a general rule you would replace the hitch head if it is loose when on the tow ball, rattles etc. or if the springs in the hitch head are particularly rusty. However because of the potential consequences of this part failing or coming off the vehicle, where there is any doubt it should be replaced.
