This soil sampling probe has a step & handle for maximum precision. It is constructed using powder-coated chromoly with heat-treated tip. The built-in step allows for additional pressure while driving the probe into the soil. This one-piece design includes a 10in Rubber-Gripped Cross Handle welded to the shaft. The probe has an outer diameter of 7/8in and a provides a 5/8in X 12in soil core sample.
