CRL's Polyisobutylene serves as the primary vapor barrier in dual-seal Insulating Glass units. It's a single-component, non-drying, non-hardening material available in tape or slug form for dual-seal production. Primarily paired with CRL Insulating Glass Silicone, it adheres to glass and metal, and withstands water, ozone, and UV light. Tape form is manually applied to Dual Seal Spacer sides, while slugs are used in automated machines. Manufactured under stringent quality control, it has 100% solids content, ensuring compatibility with any secondary seal. Each case includes 10 rolls, each 42' (12.8 m) long with five strands per roll, totaling 2100' (640 m) per case.
