Golden Dome for America: A Layered Defense Shield Paperback – July 4, 2025

It's a new world! As of January 27, 2025 the world of Missile Defense and U.S. security from incoming missiles had just changed. On that date, President Trump announced the Golden Dome for America initiative which laid out the proposed changes to our defense against Russia, China, North Korea and Iran attacks on America. Then, on June 21, 2025 the world changed again! The U.S. B-2 bombers attacked the Iranian nuclear facilities and Israel attacked their aircraft, missiles, missile storage facilities and scientific support laboratories. This now seems to have nullified the threat to Israel, the U.S. and our Middle East allies. But alas, the global Threat remains.This book defines the Threat and the proposed countermeasures. The capabilities of our adversaries are described with details and over a hundred photos. The concept of the Gloden Dome Initiative is defined along with how the various military departments and supporting agencies of the DoD plan to support the initiative. In addition, the current and proposed aerospace contractors, their support and vehicles are listed. While our International allies are not part of the initiative, they are part of the overall missile defense in many ways. They are integrated into the overall missile defense system.The U.S. has had a national missile defense system for years. It has always been at the ready, 24/7, 365 days a year. It has always consisted of both airborne and ground systems. The Golden Dome initiative will add satellites with advanced technology sensors and capabilities to achieve a more capable layered defense shield. These may be folded into the new Golden Dome “system of systems” creating a “collaborative autonomous network” capable of processing data from hundreds of sensors about incoming threats and sharing that information with ground forces and decision-makers. While the Golden Dome will be a defensive missile defense system, the U.S. has the Nuclear Triad for offense; if necessary. This consists of our ICBM system, the B-52 and B-2 aircraft systems as well as our nuclear submarines. Read more
