These are Hardened Squares with Straight Beveled Edges, crafted from a single piece of fully seasoned tool steel. Both edges of each blade are beveled, and the beam has a groove at the inner corner for burr and dirt clearance. Beams and blades are precisely ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism, hardened to RC 55. Accuracy: .0008" +L/10,000 where 'L' is the blade's length in inches.
