The following is the manufacturer's description:
The 4th generation Canter appeared in 1978. It was also known by the nickname "Golden Canter" from the catchphrase "Golden Stretching Legs" and its ocher body color. The design of the grille was changed in a minor change in 1982, but it was basically produced without major changes until 1985.
TLV-NEO has recreated the Showa "Gyojugyonen (1980)" style dump truck, the beloved vehicle of Sakana-kun, a fish scientist who is also a visiting professor at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and an illustrator.
Based on actual vehicle research, this product reproduces the unique shape of the torii (gate) and detailed stickers of Sakana-kun's beloved car as much as possible. The purification device (DPF) installed so that it can run even within the emission control area is the same as the actual vehicle.
Dump-up and vessel opening/closing actions are also adopted, and it is a very impressive model, including the wire mesh attached to the torii. The package includes a special interview with Sakana-kun.
