- SECURITY FIRST, NO NONSENSE GIMMICKS – The D-lock is designed to protect high-quality bikes - no more and no less. Hence, this D lock is no lifestyle accessory with a fancy design or exciting gimmicks. We are simply focussing on security by using the strongest available steel and a safe multi-disk cylinder, with security certification from the German Bike Association. A secure bike u lock does not need anything else.
- SOLID STEEL FOR SECURITY LEVEL 15 OUT OF 15 – In contrast to many other U locks, we do not use light steel with reduced weight & security. There is simply no short-cut for a secure lock - a bicycle lock needs to be massive & sturdy to prevent theft. Compared with other bike locks, our ulock shackle is heavy duty with a diameter of 0.55” / 14 mm solid hardened alloy steel and, thus, is especially resistant against bolt cutters & metal saws. The “price” of this high security focus is a lock weight of 3.3 lbs / 1.5 kg, still being ideal s a scooter lock, motorcycle lock, ebike lock and bike lock.
- SECURE MULTI-DISC CYLINDER – Instead of relying on the typical insecure car key cylinder, we equip our lock with a secure multi-disc cylinder. Multi-disc cylinders are extremely difficult for thieves as they need to align several discs at the same time to pick the lock. Additionally, the striking T-structure of the 2-chamber locking system protects the lock against drilling attacks. 3 keys are included.
- LARGE SHACKLE FOR EASY LOCKING - With an outer size of 6.7" x 13.5" / 17 x 34.3 cm, the lock is comparatively large, making it easier for you to lock your bike to fixed objects. Practically, your bike varnish is protected by the soft protective cover of the shackle. Furthermore, the included 2-way bracket allows to hold the lock from 2 directions (see picture). This enables an easy transport even with small frames. The bracket is suitable for round frames with a diameter of 1”-1.5” / 25-38 mm.
- ADDITIONAL BIKE LOCK CABLE - The handy spiral security cable with a length of 67” / 170 cm and a thickness of 0.3” / 8 mm ensures that you can also connect your front wheel and bicycle accessories such as trailer, child seat & helmet. Practically, heavy duty lock and cable can be used separately. Greatly suited to protect e-bikes, pedelecs, electric bikes, touring bikes, trekking bikes & bike trailers.
